This week's Pick of the Week is Super Mario RPG for the Wii Virtual Console. It was one of the last great games for the SNES and is still better than the rest of the Mario RPG games, as good as those are. 800 Wii Poins.
There's not much else that caught my eye. On video is The Next Avengers, which looks pretty lame. Do we really need a Marvel's Babies movie?
It must be almost time for Halloween. Almost meaning two months away from it, of course. Here's It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. I was once tricked by a website to believe there was a version of this movie where Linus was like a Jason character who killed the rest of the Peanuts gang. It was suppose to be called "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown...Worship It or It Will Kill You" and it was supposedly shown once on very late night network television. I'm kind of gullible.
In theaters, can you really put "ping pong" and "playa" in the same sentence? Isn't there a grammar rule against it?
