This Week In Entertainment (8/18/08)

Just to bug Lita, The Pick of the Week is Mega Man for the Virtual Console. There's no reason to buy this thanks to the fact that the Mega Man Anniversary Collection is still available with all 8 games for the Game Cube, but if you have to spend 5 bucks this week, eh.

Out on DVD this week is that FOX Terminator show. I was surprised to see that it made a second season, really.

Also out is Married...With Children Season 9. I think it was about this time that the show started to get really annoying with the constant No Ma'am/nudie bar episodes. I quit watching it during the end of the next season.

I haven't seen any of the Mummy movies, but this is apparently a prequel to a spinoff of a sequel. Wow.

NIXON'S BACK, BABY! Or at least they're rereleasing the middle of the trilogy of Oliver Stone's sensationalist President movies. His upcoming movie will show Dubya shooting JFK. You heard it here first.

I've never played any BloodRayne games, so I have no idea how badly Uwe Boll ruined the games for the fans. You have to wonder how the Terminatrix is feeling about her career right now. She seems to be another woman who can't make it as an action superstar. (SEXISM!!!)

I never even heard of this show until now. George of the Jungle was a good cartoon but this cartoon looks terrible. The first movie was good but why do they insist on making it some kind of franchise?

Death Race is not a video game movie nor a vs movie so I have no idea how Paul Anderson will handle it.

Lastly, Shakespeare finally "sells out" and gives us the sequel to Hamlet we've all been waiting so long for.
